Showstopper.

Memorial Hermann is the oldest hospital network in Houston. They're internationally renowned, home to some of the most accomplished and respected minds in medicine, and service one of the biggest and busiest metropolises in the world.

But instead of beating their chests, they chose to tell their stories from the heart, stories that prove the most advanced care should also be the most personal.

The Bottle Operate Table.

Stones is South Africa’s largest pool hall chain, with 14 locations across the country. The problem was that brands were diverting their promotional budgets to more contemporary venues.

So, we created something that would actively encourage Stones customers to choose the promotional brand over their usual brand: The Stones BOT, or Bottle Operated Table, which neatly combined the two primary elements of the Stones experience – pool and beer, rewarding customers for buying a specific brand with a free game of pool.

#FaceCake

Machine is an agency made up of 110 individuals. From studio to dev to client service, management, and the call center, each person’s unique role is important to the healthy and productive functionality of our company. And that’s a lot of uniqueness. A lot of individuality. That’s 110 distinctive points of view, 110 opinions, 110 one-of-a-kind personalities, working together to create what Machine is, two years later. Our company cannot be defined by a name or a CI or a color scheme, it’s far, far bigger than that. It’s the people that really define it.

So when Machine turns 2 years old, it’s really 110 Machine employees who are celebrating their 2nd birthday.

Dare Greatly.

It’s not just Cadillac’s tagline but a mantra written across the luxury brand’s walls. It’s a challenger spirit that dares to do what others can’t or won’t. To create luxury cars unlike any other… that truly drive themselves, that can be subscribed to, and that dominate the world racing circuit podium after podium.

Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark.

‘If Mother didn’t tell you about Marmite, what else didn’t she tell you?’ – A campaign that brought to life everything unknown, interesting, or downright bizarre.

One thing your mother definitely didn’t tell you are scary stories – local and traditional- that spring from Halloween. Since we’ve positioned ourselves as the spread that tells you things your mother didn’t tell you, we thought it appropriate to connect the dots, and created a Halloween campaign that did just that.

The tactical Halloween campaign ‘Don’t be afraid of the Dark’ encourages people to be brave and try the original dark stuff, because there really isn’t anything to be afraid of.

Grab Your Seat

The Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour is the premier Freestyle Motocross series in its discipline of motorsport. The series travels all around the world to incredible locations as the riders perform heart-stopping tricks all in the name of becoming champion.

2014 marked the first time a Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour stop was to be held in South Africa. We set out to create a campaign to bring the global excitement of Red Bull X-Fighters to life with a uniquely South African look and feel. To do this we created a series of patterns and handcrafted typefaces that combined elements of the high-octane, extreme nature of the sport with the tradition, heritage, and aesthetic of South African art and culture.
